This is a circular walk including St Ives, the Hemingfords and Houghton-Wyton. Strictly speaking this is four villages and a town! It is mostly flat and follows recognised paths, although these are sometimes across meadows which may be very muddy in winter, or indeed even completely flooded.
You pass several pubs, restaurants and tearooms where you can stop for food and refreshments during the walk. Combine it with the shorter St Ives walks if you are interested in taking in some of the local shops too.
The walk begins and finishes near the Bus Station is St Ives, adjacent to which there is plenty of car parking. The parking is Pay and Display with both short term and long term parking areas. It is reached by turning first left after leaving the bypass at the Town Centre roundabout.
