After a short distance you will come to Noble's Field on your left. On the right is the golf course. Turn left into Noble's field and take the opportunity to stroll along the river bank. Across the river is Hemingford Meadow. At the far end of the field it narrows and you rejoin the Thicket Path. Turn right onto it and head back towards St Ives. At the Cromwell Scout site turn left and walk up the road. |  |

At the far end of the field it narrows and you rejoin the Thicket Path. Turn right and head back towards St Ives. At the Cromwell Scout site turn left and walk up the road. After about 200m you come to the intersection with Westwood road. Turn right and walk past the graveyard on the left. Just past the junction with West Leys road turn left up the footpath. Follow the footpath to a small lawned park. Turn right and follow the edge of the park to Ramsey road. Cross over the road and you will see Slepe Hall Hotel to the right. Bear left up Ramsey road and turn right down the footpath just before Westfield School. On the left is Westfield School, and a little further on Eastfield School. At the junction with Broad Leas Road, cross over and walk down Warners Grove. |  |
