Walk up Bridge Street turning left into Merriland. Proceed past the Nelsons Head on your left and onto the Broadway. The Jubilee fountain is on your right. Walk along the Broadway passing Floods Tavern and the Norris Museum on your left. Take the opportunity to go into the Norris Museum if it is open. |  |

Continue along The Waits and straight ahead onto the footpath towards the Parish Church. Walk past the Church on your right and through the gate at the kissing gate at the Western end. On the left is Holt Island. If Holt Island is open cross the footbridge on your left and take the opportunity to walk around it.. Continue West on the Thicket Path, marked by the footpath sign near the bridge to Holt Island. Pass the Cromwell Scout headquarters on your left. |  |
