Turn left and walk down Free Church Passage. You'll pass Quayside gallery before reaching the Quay. From here you have an excellent view of the Bridge, and the refurbished Mill buildings across the river. On the left is the small island where river barges used to load and unload their cargo in times past. Further back you can see the bypass that has taken traffic out of the centre of St Ives since 1980. | ![]() |

Walk along the quay and take the opportunity to enjoy the river, and feed the ducks if you wish. Connies Traditional Tearoom is located right on the quay-side. From the bridge you have views of Hemingford meadows and the Dolphin Hotel opposite and looking back the quay and Bridge Street. Take the opportunity to explore the Bridge Chapel. You may need to fetch the key if it is locked. | ![]() |
