Over the weekend of the 8th and 9th July, the annual St Ives Carnival was held. The weather was overcast with sunny spells and somewhat cool. Here are a few photos taken on the day.
As usual the carnival began with a parade down Ramsay road, along the Broadway, through Market Square and then on to Warner's Park. There were fewer floats this year than in past years.
The Carnival had a number of arena events, including flying demonstrations by the Raptor Rescue Centre. There was also the usual fun-fair and various stalls selling local products and various fun-and-games for the whole family.
On Sunday there was the traditional day of music in Warner's Park with local band playing.
