- Monday Market
- Monday is market day, but the May bank holiday and late summer bank holiday markets are the biggest and best.

- St Ives Carnival
- This is a regular event held annually in Warner's Park in July. It features a float parade through the town followed by family activities in the park on Saturday and a music festival on Sunday. - St Ives Regatta
- The St Ives Regatta is held on the river Great Ouse based from Noble's Field. It is a weekend-long event consisting of a rowing regatta on the Saturday and Dragon Boat races on Sunday, with family entertainment all weekend long on Noble's Field.

- St Ives Music and Arts Festival
- This annual tradition of concerts, exhibitions and events is held in late summer, typically during the last week of August.

- Michaelmous Fair
- In October each year for a week a fair with rides and stalls and games takes over the Market Square in the centre of town.

- Christmas Lights
- Like most places in the UK, St Ives town celebrated the start of the third millennium one year early. :-)

- Dickensian Christmas Market
- This has become a regular event on the first Sunday in December each year; held in the town centre.
|

- Civic Sunday
- The Mayoral parade following shortly after "Mayor Making" in which the new Mayor and Councillors parade through the streets of St Ives.

- The Raptor Foundation
- A rescue and rehabilitation centre for birds of prey - owls, buzzards, eagles, kestrels etc. Regular flying displays are held and there are opportunities for children and adults to hold some of the birds.

- Swavesey Lakes
- Walks and days out amongst nature in and around the Fendrayton gravel pits, also referred to as the Swavesey Lakes.

- The Ouse Valley Way
- This is a footpath covering some 35km along the river Great Ouse, and passing through St Ives.

- Boating on the river Great Ouse
- The Westover Boat Company offers cruises on the Barkis and Peggoty. See also the Great Ouse Boating Association of England or Hartford Marina

- The Captain's Table
- The The Captain's Table is a cruising restaurant and pleasure boat that plies the river Great Ouse.
