Aim

To help communities help themselves by providing staff to give practical help, advice and support to all members of rural communities in Cambridgeshire, including different interest groups; village hall committees and parish councils.

Local Network Fund Initiative

The Local Network Fund is a government initiative that aims to support small voluntary/community groups working with disadvantaged children and young people.

Grants are available from £250 to £7,000.

Who can apply?

• New projects and activities that focus on children and young people
• Your group needs to be locally managed
• Children benefiting must be facing poverty, isolation or disadvantage
• Your group must have a turnover of less than £75,000

Activities must fit into one of four themes:

• Aspirations and experiences
• Isolation and access
• Children?s voices
• Economic disadvantage
